Springlake Community Inc. (SCI) is a resident-owned and directed 55 and older gated manufactured home community of 145 homes and an Onsite Management Team on 33 acres. We are located in beautiful Scappoose, Oregon, just 21 miles from downtown Portland (public transportation available) and within minutes of the Columbia River, Multnomah Channel, Sauvie Island Wildlife Area, Wildwood Golf Course, Portland hospitals and the Columbia County Courthouse in St. Helens. SCI is within walking distance and local public transportation to medical clinics, churches, banking, grocery and discount stores, restaurants, gyms, parks, library, city hall, police and fire/EMT departments, Industrial Airpark, and Community and Senior Center.   

The corporation is governed by a board of directors made up of our neighbors who are elected by the residents.  We are governed by bylaws, and by rules and regulations, that are patterned after Home Owners Associations’ (HOA) regulations.  Our day-to-day operation is overseen by a management company.
